Kovalev vs Shabranskyy Preview

Sergei Kovalev (30-2-1) and Vyacheslav Šaberansky (19-1-0) will meet in the Battle of the Heavyweight Championship of the World Bank of Brazil at the major Habu boxing card event on Saturday.

The card will start at 10 p.m. At, and also feature two great battles on the Niedercard. The first televised shift, Sullivan Barrera (20-1-0), will be on Felix Valera (15-1-0) in a lightweight game while Jason Sosa (20-2-4), Yururakis Gamboa (27-2-0), faces a super-feather battle before the main event.

Kovalev, 34, was accused by all of communicating with himself because of his first professional loss at the two previous points to Andre Ward, who is currently retired. Kovalev won the first match, a unanimous decision on the ward, but he stopped at the eighth round of the final match.

He goes to a Saturday bout as favorites, but the fans are wary after all of the excuses. He clearly fights someone he must hit, but if he shakes his confidence or if he doesn't take the Chaberansky seriously, he can find himself riding three-lost games slipping. This will be pretty much the end of his career as talents at the highest level.

Location: Madison Square Garden, New York City, N.Y.
Date: Saturday, Nov. 25
Time: 10 p.m. ET
TV: HBO

Shaberansky is out of the loss of the case for Barrera, who will take on Valera on the TV and the Dercard, followed by a pair of victories on Todd Onthank Mayo and Larry Brewer. Barrera is likely to hope to fight the winner of the main event on Saturday
